'Red and Orange watercolour' series

This series focuses on Elephants, Rhinos and Tigers. It uses just two colours to portray the quiet emotions of each subject. Sascha tried to draw out the human qualities of each individual where the viewer can feel the warmth of their character and even their mood.

'Coffee & ink' series

This series triggered the start of her painting. During the "off" days working at Sky News, she made up the rest of her money in antiques shop. Suddenly feeling desperate to paint all she had was "the coffee I was drinking and the ink in my pen". Thus began this series using real coffee in 3 different shades. Here Sascha seeks to capture movement and the majesty of each animal running.

'Pink oils' series

Here Sascha creates close up portraits capturing each personality using a limited palette again of 2 colours: Pink and white oils, using a palette knife in the process.

'Black ink' series

Sascha brings an etching feel to drawing with an ink pen & unlike pencil you cannot make a mistake. Pen and black ink are used here to bring out the character of each animal portrait.

'Brazilian' series

Sascha  fell in love with Brazil on her honeymoon - the music, the language, the people blew her away & she spent many hours sketching on Rio beach.

Everything happened there ; lovers playing, mums with kids, games, flirting, fighting and socialising .By capturing such a different way of life & culture she wanted to bring this vibrancy and colour back to her home in London.

'Neon' series
